Enterprise FleetCentrix AVL™
Enterprise FleetCentrix AVL™ (Automatic Vehicle Location) tracks the location and use of vehicles and equipment to improve scheduling, and thereby customer satisfaction. It also allows dispatchers to route drivers to routine or emergency repair facilities, and to route mobile repair services to the site of a disabled vehicle.
Enterprise FleetCentrix AVL™ vehicle fleet tracking software is integrated with and viewable along side the information provided by Enterprise FleetCentrix™. Using both products, your dispatchers will know the location of a vehicle and its operational status. They can then send a driver to the nearest facility for either routine or emergency repairs. If a vehicle is disabled, the dispatcher can provide the location and engine alert information that the mobile repair or towing service will need.
Enterprise FleetCentrix AVL™ converts GPS coordinates into online map locations in the form of vehicle icons. Dispatchers can schedule updates to the maps at regular intervals such as every hour or every fifteen minutes. AVL software also makes it possible to locate a vehicle based on a “triggered” response, such as arriving at or leaving a defined location.
